A new day dawns, and as the light chases away the darkness, God’s glory is revealed to a slumbering world. The air is crisp and cool and filled with the expectation of newness and hope, yet there is a certain drama to it all, for as the new day is dawning, its potential is as yet unattained.

Where will we go today, what will we do with the opportunities before us?  Will we spend another day simply going through the motions, or will we seize the day to make a difference?

Surely today will be a day of salvation for some, surely somebody somewhere will share their faith by  word or deed and bring the light of Jesus Christ into another person’s life.  Surely today, someone will do something to lift the hopes of another, bringing to that person the true hope of Christ to their life.  Surely someone somewhere will show the love of Christ to a stranger who needs i!

Yes, the light shines on a glorious day, a glorious moment, a glorious opportunity for us to shine; will we seize the day?

May His glory and light fill our hearts and move us to reflect His light to someone who needs His love today.
