This weekend this blog will pass 10,000 views.  I realize that to many of you this doesn’t sound like very many views, but to me it is an unbelievable number.

When I started this blog last October, I never really thought that anybody would look at it… oh maybe a few friends and family might have a look, but that’s really about all I could imagine.  I don’t really know how to promote or market a blog, and frankly I don’t really have the time to figure it out!  So to me hitting a number like that is quite surprising.

I also don’t know why it has taken on the form that it has; it wasn’t my intention or initial plan.  This was going to be a writing exercise more than anything else; I wanted writing practice in styles that were non-technical, and I have experimented from time to time with that… Yet when I start a post, I end very often with something different than I initially set out to do, and I’m not sure why that is; lack of writing discipline probably.  Well, that’s enough personal rambling!

I just wanted to take an opportunity to thank all of you who stop by and take a look here.  I want to thank those of you who comment, “like” and encourage me, and yes, also those who occasionally challenge me, for it is all of you who keep me going in this blog.  I also would like to thank God for the opportunity to have come in contact with so many wonderful Christian brothers and sisters all over the world; you are all an inspiration to me!
