Strength for the Storm

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:9

Two deep red roses in full bloom surrounded by green leaves, with the words “My grace is sufficient for you” written in elegant script, symbolizing God’s sustaining love and beauty.

Provision is not always rescue. Sometimes it is strength to endure.

Sustaining grace provides presence, steadiness, and strength to carry us through storms.

Paul prayed for removal; God provided resilience. Paul asked for escape; God provided endurance. Paul wanted relief; God provided Himself.

The roses — deep red, layered, resilient — are a picture of this kind of provision. Beauty that grows in soil, weather, and seasons. Strength that is not loud but steady.

God’s provision in hardship is not the absence of trouble but the presence of Christ. He gives courage, patience, perseverance, and hope — the quiet provisions that carry us through the days we never expected to face.
