Today is one of those days that I’ve come to dread; a day when I can’t think of anything to write about: Horror!!
It seems to happen once or twice a week, and my normal solution is just to start writing; to force it you might say. So here I am, forcing it and writing about not having anything to say, sure to keep to reading, right?
sometimes, when I don’t have an idea I rant about something, but not even a rant will come to mind right now.
Maybe I should just post a picture, or maybe I should just not post anything at all…
Well, if nothing else, I’m willing to guess that I’m not the only one who has this problem from time to time, so if you are suffering from “I can’t think of anything to write about disorder” today, you are not alone! Maybe we need to start a support group!
Oh well, I won’t take up any more of your time… and I’ll stop aggravating myself, too.
Have a great Friday, and may God bless you richly today!
Don

Um… Gee… Duh… Err.. 😉
That about sums it up!
Well, I’ve got the opposite problem. It’s my self-assigned day to write a difficult “December 26 cemetery scene” to fill out a book chapter. Which is a poignant and challenging assignment. But if there’s nothing particularly brilliant to say, well, then do what you just did! Say so, wish your friends all of God’s love, and look for a more eloquent tomorrow. Blessings to you, sir.
Thank you and good luck on your scene!
It is not a necessity that you have to post every day ! We should not be in bondage to anyone or thing buy Christ Jesus. I don’t post as often as perhaps I should and definately will be missing for two week, as I am going on holiday away from PC.
You are right of course, but I’ve been trying to approach blogging as more of a ministry than a hobby since it’s currently the only ministry open to me. In fact, just the other day I was thinking about having three or four posts per day. Maybe that wasn’t a good idea as it turns out… at least not right now.
Hope you have a great holiday and we’ll see you when you get back my friend!
The truth is, you are at your most creative when you’re not creating.
Bob Dylan discovered this in 1965 when he decided to quit being a musician. Burnt out and fed up with the scene, he decided to retreat to his cabin in upstate New York and become a novelist. A few days into his exile, however, he wrote “Like a Rolling Stone,” one of the most successful songs in the history of rock and roll.

There is a lot of truth in that and Bob isn’t the only one with a story like that. For me (not that I compare with people like Dylan) some of my best stuff comes from “forcing it” I write nonsense and all of a sudden it comes… but not this time! Hope you are all well!
