Early in the morning, just before the rise of the sun, there’s a mist upon the land when all is so quiet, just before life begins anew.

The forest is so very still, as the misty morning creeps through its boughs.

As the sun begins to spread its light, great trees stand above the dew as monuments to our God’s great creative work, and still the ground is in slumber safe beneath it covers…

…as the sky slowly brightens and the water reflects it like a mirror.

Clearer and clearer the image becomes as the mist begins to lift from the earth and life renews its vigor…

…until finally a brand new day begins its work of revealing to all that magnificent creation that inspires us all to walk more closely with God.
