Who is like the Lord?

Mt Vernon 913 132

Is there anyone who is like the Lord in heaven or on earth?

Not a chance!

Is there any one or any thing that deserves our praise except our God?

No.

Our God has demonstrated His great love for us, He has shown His mercy to us and He has entered into relationship with us; how will we respond? It is for us to follow Him, to serve Him and to worship Him.  It is for us to give Him glory and praise.

The heavens praise your wonders, Lord,
your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones.
For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord?
Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?

Psalm 89:5-6

How will we serve Him today; what will we do that will bring Him glory?

You ask how will we serve God and bring Him Glory, I know you talk elsewhere about covenants. We have a new covenant with God that we enter into because of the accomplishments of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians is written to the faithful believers in Jesus Christ so as we learn to be faithful to the new Covenant that is explained to us in Romans – Thessalonians guess what God says about us in Ephesians 1:18 that we the believers who are aware of the hope of his calling, we are the source of his riches in glory for we are his inheritance. Our lives, when we remain faithful to live them in that new covenant relationship with God, we bring God not just glory but riches in glory. It is God working in our lives that redound to his glory. Not because I am so wonderful but God working in and with me that I see signs miracles and wonders following my footsteps. This glorifies God as I believe and claim his promises to me and you do the same with the promises God makes to you. If you are a believer they are the same promises. How many are you claiming to see come to pass in your life. Do you manifest the holy spirit? When a severe storm threatens your area do you rebuke it and tell it to calm down. Do you look for revelation to offer your fellow believers gifts of healings. God energizes, but you manifest. It is by God’s grace and mercy but when you say here am I God send me to do this or that, it becomes riches in glory to him. Live a disciplined life, know your hope of his calling, expect God to work in your life, prove that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Do this and you will be one of the sources of the riches in glory for you will be a part of God’s inheritance. Selah
