WASHINGTON After several days of sweat, chaos and a fair amount of confusion, I’m plugged back into the internet and able to resume blogging, and that suits me just fine. It was a more or less uneventful trip across the eastern US, ran into a little rain in the mountains of western Maryland; no big deal.
We were, however a day longer than anticipated because right at the start we had to change our travel plans to head to Springfield, Illinois to visit our daughter-in-law who was in the hospital there.. It seems that she had a little accident when the ultra-light aircraft in which she was a passenger collided with another ultra-light in mid-air, causing both aircraft to crash into a forest area. Luckily the trees broke the fall, saving the lives of all involved, but there were plenty of broken bones to go around, and Chelsea ended up with a broken leg requiring surgery…
Happily, she will be fine after everything gets healed up, and all I can think of to say is thank God for those trees!
I have some other observations about the trip and about leaving that I’ll get to in fairly short order, bu I wanted to chime in briefly with this little update before I get serious about writing anything. Thanks to all for your kind comments and well-wishes, we be getting back to some serious blogging around here very soon!

Don,
Glad to see you back and Thank God for your safe move! Sending a prayer for the speedy recovery of you DIL and Thank God He was watching over her to prevent more serious injury.
Blessings and Peace In Christ, my friend,
