In Christ, there are no divisions among people, there is only unity. In Christ, it does not matter if we are rich or poor, black or white, male or female; we are one.
Of course, culture tends to interfere… But when culture tells us that we must be divided along any lines, culture is wrong!
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Sometimes we need to really remind ourselves that our culture is not what counts when it comes to our relationships with our brothers in Christ, for what matters is the “in Christ.”
And what a glorious testimony this is! In a world where people are divided by so much, we are one in Christ! Oh, if we would only remember this glorious truth…
In reality, there is only one division left, and that is “in Christ” or “lost.” The really great news is that the lost are all invited to enter unity with Christ; let’s be certain that every single one receives an invitation to dwell with us in unity and peace.

Unity is so hard to grasp when culture pulls us a part, but people still are basically the same – we all sin and fall short of God’s glory. Only thru Christ can we cross the bearers and try to use common references to bring all to Christ.
Culture does get in the way- when we have a generation or more who do not know what sin is! How do we make them see the importance of Christ in their lives.
Unity of the Spirit is what Paul says in Eph. What has become of the ‘Body’ Is not what Paul was aiming at in His writing. Our divisions are not caused by culture at all but are a mirror reflection of the fact that we are not converted nor are we Holy, Hebrews “without Holiness no one will see” ‘be like’ the Lord.” we cant be what we are to be in the flesh, we must all be converted, by the Holy Spirit ‘in’ us. So Scripture says If Christ is not in us we are none of His. Sectarianism is not of God but Human carnal Pride. Without Holiness no one will see the Lord, without Holiness no ‘body’ can reflect him, nor minister him to the ‘so called’ lost. Who is more lost than the ones who think they know where they are, and where they stand? John 9 ;41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.– Because you think you see your blindness remains — ‘Not the ones here, but many within this contemporary Christian era.
