Boundless Love

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

To me, this is an awesome and humbling verse, how about you?

God so loved us that He sent His Son to die for us, while we were living in open rebellion against Him!  WOW!

How can we have any other response than gratitude, love and devotion?  We follow Him because we love Him, and if we love Him, we must obey Him as well.  Just take a quiet moment today to consider how great His love for you must be.  Then ask yourself what your response to such an awesome love is going to be today.

  1. Taking time to reflect on God’s love for us is overwhelming. It re-centers me and reminds me that nothing else matters much in comparison. Sadness, stress, sickness and death are all small in comparison to his endless love–and no matter what, things will work out as they should!
