I came across this video and I thought I’d share it this afternoon. It is an amazingly powerful and inspiring rendition of Amazing Grace… and my old High School fight song… we were the “highlanders”. Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra.

I love bagpipes. Had a friend who piped at JFK’s funeral, and with the Black Watch. He was grand.

One of the most moving experiences I had was at an annual Scottish Highland Games festival during the closing ceremonies when they played Amazing Grace on the bagpipes and everyone in the stands hummed along. Thanks for sharing.
