Jesus’ Imperative Commands
The other day I asked you consider the imperative voice commands that Jesus gave us, and how they relate to Matthew 25, and told you we’d discuss them in this morning’s podcast… well here we are! Let’s see what Jesus actually commanded us to do, as opposed to His teachings on various things, and see if this helps us to understand what it mean to be ready when He returns.

Yes, I am ready. Yes, I have used the talents he gave me. Yes, through my book, My Precious Life, I am reaching out to further His Kingdom. Great podcast, Don!
Awesome… and thank you!
Nice start to a Monday morning –good food for thought! Thank you and good morning Don!
Thanks Elaine!
I enjoyed listening to your podcast. It was a very good teaching and I look forward to hearing more. I am ready to go but I know there is more that I must do.
I hear ya!
Always be ready is what Jesus wanted. I know I’m ready! Thank you!

Thanks!
Another imperative that Jesus offers is striking…He says, “Love others as I have loved you.” That really moves me…to love others as Jesus loves me. This even trumps the commonly quoted ‘do unto others……’ teaching.
Yes, great point. It really kicks things up a notch or two.
