Outside my window as I write this, I can see the tree branches heavy with fresh snow, and faintly I hear the birds chirping merrily. Once again, our Nation’s Capital is closed down, buried under a foot or so of snow. There’s not any traffic out on the street to speak of, other than an occasional snow plow, and the guy on the radio wished us all a happy Snow Patrick’s Day.
It’s hard to remember at the moment, but it was just this past Saturday when the temperatures here were over 70 and I saw people at the store wearing shorts and t-shirts… ah yes, it must be spring!
It’s been quite a winter in most of North America, yes sir, global warming has been responsible for record low temperatures and high snowfall in many areas, but I think spring has finally arrived in these parts. The cherry blossom festival is only a few weeks off now. Last year, it was very cold and there were no blossoms, so it’s later this year…
Yep, none of this weather stuff is making sense. Warmest day of the year so far, followed by another snow shut-down, the weather is going crazy; it must be spring south of Mason’s and Dixon’s line.
Yes Lord, you really do have quite a sense of humor!

It’s snowing as we speak and I certainly hope this is the last snow of the season. Yes, God must have a sense of humor. He’s gotten our attention, hasn’t He? 😉 Apparently, more need to tune in so we can pass this test and move on …

I am currently looking out at trees loaded with white and pink blooms even as the temperature begins to descend into the thirties here in Georgia. Spring IS imminent. I figure it’s just God’s way of reminding me to go with what I KNOW and not how I FEEL. Even His humor can teach us a lesson or two. As always, another enjoyable post!
