I thought I’d share a really great sermon message with you today, one I heard this past Sunday. It is from Genesis 15 and covers God’s covenant with Abraham in a most interesting way. Β Let me know what you think…

I have just made the mistake of multi-tasking as I listened to the second half of this podcast. Once I clear my desk and have a quiet half-an-hour, I am going to listen again. There is something very important here. Just “missed” what it is! Thank you for adding this – I will return! π
π
Don, now listened properly. And have to say you picked a good ‘un! Faith in a great way: hold on tight and don’t let go! Kind of dynamic when compared to the calm and quiet “faith” we talk of so often. And then a whole new way of looking at sacrifice, covenant, Jesus on the cross, the timing … A real “this is personal” way of looking at all of that.
Recently I “prayed the impossible” – now I am wondering if 1800 years later it will be fulfilled! π
This one is an onion sermon – full of layers upon layers! Thank you for sharing it!
Thank you Paul. I hope you don’t mind, but I just emailed your comment to the guy who was speaking; I can’t tell you how proud I am of the kid; he has really worked hard to get where he is these days. He is doing this almost every Sunday these days π
I am happy that you did. And to share something else: never having heard the linkage in this sermon before – that very fact that you had found it “really great” endorsed the theology. Which meant I could absorb the message, digest the juice and let the GSHJ ripples bob me about as He wished. I never really made that connection of “endorsement” until just now. So thank you as well!
And with that, all three of us are encouraged today: Thanks!
Look! You know what I see? I see “church” going on today! π
Let’s set church free to be in every moment of He, thee and me π
Nice. π
