Well, here I am on my Illinois adventure; I intended to write this post yesterday, but what with computer issues and all of that, I didn’t quite get it done on schedule. Anyway, so far things that have nothing to do with computers have been great…
This past Sunday morning was our first Spiritual Gifts session, and what do you suppose happened on Sunday morning?
If you guessed the biggest snowstorm of the season, you would be right on target.
It rained Saturday, and turned to snow by sunup Sunday, and continued to snow and snow… and snow; I hear we had over 14 inches of really heavy, wet snow, you know, the worst kind to drive on. Most churches in the area were closed by the storm, but not us, and although numbers were down, we have a hearty bunch of foul weather Christians and so off we all went on our adventure!
You might recall that I was going to see about podcasts of these sermons/classes, and thanks to Mike, who is a friend of this blog… and of mine as well, we have a link for those of you who would like to listen in on our very informal session from last Sunday, at the bottom of the page.
So now, I get ready for Wednesday evening’s class, and I’m guessing that the hardy ones will be there in force; they’ll have to be hardy because our chance for snow today is 70% and it is supposed to continue through Wednesday…

Life Project Blog 
Oh, AWEsome! I can’t wait to hear this. I was playing around with photos and vids earlier, with some surprising results. That new blog I began last night, I’m writing things on, like a bit of a techie journal. Come in and make use of whatever’s there if it helps. I’ll do another page on my findings later tonight.

Very good teaching on the Holy Spirit coming into our lives when we become followers of Jesus. You kept proding the listeners to “get it,” and I feel certain that there were people even in that small group who were getting it for the first time. How wonderful to be introduced to the Holy Spirit!!! I am looking forward to the rest of your teaching.
