I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! I don’t know about you, but I’m not really ready to get back in the swing of things after the Thanksgiving weekend, and of course this year that follows a week on vacation; I’m not sure I’m ready to get back to reality just yet!
There is so much to be done with work, the home front and the holidays coming up in a few weeks, and I really don’t want much to do with any of it right now! I wonder if I’m the only one who doesn’t look forward to getting back to ‘reality’ after a holiday… I really doubt it.
Aside from the obvious, the basic realities of life have not changed. I am following Jesus Christ, and He provides more than I need. He fills me with joy and peace whenever I contemplate all that He has done for me and mine, and in spite of my blue mood this morning, that is a continuing reality. I know that blue moods pass once I get back in the swing of things, so why not just jump right in and get moving forward; after all it’s my choice either to press on or to indulge a negative attitude.
So, here I go; enough of this. Thank you Lord for being all in my life!
It’s time to get with it.

Thy will my will I will … oh well 🙂
For those of who have been working as usual without even a holiday weekend on the calendar – good morning! 🙂
It’s a good morning indeed, with the right focus 🙂
Know the feelin’ Don. Have a smile on me. Grey day here today and loads to do! Do I fancy? No. Have I got to? Yup! Loads of travelling and walking before I can buy two small tools for a job I need to do back here. If hubby was all right, I could get the shopping done in half an hour. Alone, it’ll take three hours or more. Thank God we have Jesus, aye 🙂 Much love in the Lord to you.
It’s a matter of perspective isn’t it? We can focus on the yuk or we can fix our eyes on Jesus! 🙂
Yeah. I need to BIG TIME work on that one. Love to you, Christ be your focus, my beloved brother.

Amen!
Oh how I know that feeling! Fortunately it doesn’t usually stick around for long.
