We’ve been discussing Interpretation here at The Life Project for the past 6 weeks or so, and this podcast should wrap the discussion up for the time being, with a brief coverage of proof texts.
What is a proof text> It is a Bible verse that someone quotes to “prove” a point; you’ve seen this done haven’t you? It happens in sermons, classes, books and arguments, and the texts don’t always prove what they are supposed to do.
