Earlier today I posted about some of the projects I’m working on and ended up by mentioning that the most urgent one is to figure out what to blog about next. Several of you had suggestions which I very much appreciate, and I think I have it figured out. Let’s take a tour of James… right after we visit Jude!
Jude is very short, only 25 verses, many don’t even know where it is, it’s just before Revelation, and when was the last time you saw anybody do a study on it?
What’s even more intriguing about Jude is the questions surrounding it: Who is “Jude”? Why did he quote prophets who aren’t in the Bible? Why is the letter so very much like 2 Peter 2? Who are the false teachers he’s speaking out against?
Mysterious…
… And this will give us a little change of pace from what I’ve been doing for four months now.
Then as soon as we are finished with our visit with Jude, we’ll head right to James, a wonderful book that is chock-full of insight for our daily lives in the 21st century. Oh yes, and it will get me into trouble with folks who love the “faith vs. works” argument!
I’m going to get to work now so I can be a few posts ahead, and I meet you at Jude’s place at bright and early tomorrow morning!

Huzzah!! No more lurking quietly!! 🙂
No more, you can come out now!
🙂
Will you share with us how to build ourselves up on our most holy faith? I love that verse. Can’t wait 😀
I may have an idea or two on that 🙂
Jude is a powerful statement I look forward to your blog
It surely is!
You are right…don’t see much on Jude…look forward to your study.

Glad to hear it Skye, see you there!
Love this short very profound book. Looking forward to diving into the words. vw
