“{ray that you will not fall into temptation.”

Luke 22:40b

Jesus gave this instruction to his disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane on that fateful night and then went a little further up the path to pray himself.

His disciples fell asleep, and Jesus was betrayed.

How often we fall into temptation!  How often we fall asleep! If only we would pray  that we would not  fall into temptation!

We must become a people of prayer, for that is the enemy’s greatest fear is a people of prayer.
