God’s plans aren’t like our plans.
This statement is simple and yet very profound in its implications.
We make plans and often we follow through with them and yet things don’t always work out the way we expect them to. In the photo above you will notice the four telephone poles coming up from the water of the little lake…
They were put there to support a suspension bridge to the island in the middle, and at one time that’s exactly what they did. A major storm took care of the bridge and there’s no bridge to the island any more; not the plan that was enacted here. How often do all of us make plans and either never follow through with them or have them just not work out?
God’s plans always work out.
God has a Plan for Mankind, one that is there to bring God and Man together through the work of His Son Jesus on the cross. Jesus came to the earth, went to the cross and paid the price for all of our sins. He did this so that we can be reconciled to God; God’s part of the Plan is complete, and He awaits our move…
What is your plan about the sacrifice of Jesus? Will you accept Him as Savior and be reconciled to God?
I hope and pray that all men will do so!
