I was talking to a guy a few weeks back who said that he didn’t think that God had ever done anything for him; God, according to this man was just “there”.
How sad is this outlook, and how blind!
I understand that sometimes we may feel this way, but in those times we need to take a quick inventory of all that we have to thank Him for. How can we miss what He did for us at the cross? Oh wait, we are here aren’t we? Look at the glories of nature; did God put us in a world devoid of beauty and wonder?
Our Lord has done great things for us! He has created you and me in His image, He has given us intelligence and the ability to see this wonderful creation of His, and He is working in each of our lives every day. We can actually track the things He does in our lives if we will keep records! For a post on this, click here.
Come and see what God has done,
how awesome his works in man’s behalf!
He turned the sea into dry land,
they passed through the waters on foot—
come, let us rejoice in him.
He rules forever by his power,
his eyes watch the nations—
let not the rebellious rise up against him.
(Psalm 66:5-7)
Yes, God has done much for us all, both as a whole and as individuals; come, let us give Him praise and thanksgiving!

When was the last time God did something for me? Well about a second ago, I took a breath. There goes another one… I believe each second of our lives requires the affirmative will of God.
Well said Dan! It’s great to hear from you old buddy!
Yes sir! I can testify… He has been really good to me.

God blessed me with a healthy son, and a wonderful husband and step-father for him. He has blessed me with loving in-laws that regard and treat me as family and welcome me with open arms. He has given me two hands and the hands to craft things that bring joy and health to those who need it.
That is a wonderful testimony; thank you so much for sharing it with us.
May God continue to bless you and your family!
