Resurrection Sunday: The day when we celebrate the historical fact of Jesus’ resurrection from the grave… it is a great day!

By His resurrection bodily from the grave, Jesus has confirmed everything He taught us.  He has demonstrated His power over death and His victory over Satan, and He has demonstrated His promises to us.  Again I say this is a great day!

I hope that we approach it with reverence  and awe… and joy and happiness.

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

(Hebrews 10:19-20)

The fact of His resurrection has ramifications throughout our lives, not to mention our eternal future; joyous facts.  May we approach the day with gladness and joy as we approach His throne with confidence!
