Winter’s Swan Song

Where I live, we haven’t had any snow since the 3rd of this month, and since then we’ve actually had one day that reached 70 degrees.  Looking at the extended forecast, we are supposed to be in the 50’s and 60’s for a week or so; an early Spring! (maybe)

The signs are all in place: March Madness is starting this week, baseball’s just around the corner, Easter is coming up fast, taxes are about due and I noticed that in one spot in my yard weeds are just beginning to appear…

So as we chug down the track towards Spring and life seems to resurrect itself from the gloom of Winter, we are reminded of God’s provision for us, and how His life cannot be contained in the grave.  I don’t know about you, but for me this is a time for renewed hope and joy.  Our God is reliable, organized and in control… and His natural wonders are just about to spring into action once again.

Can we have Thanksgiving in March?

Yes we can!
