A Misty Morning

This morning when I woke up and looked out the window, this is what I saw; a misty foggy morning.  In this area and on top of a river bluff, we don’t see this much…

…and to be honest, the fog doesn’t really show up that well in the pictures.

I was talking to a guy the other day who is from Seattle.  They have lots of weather like this, in fact it is pretty normal there.  He said that fog can be beautiful… as long as it doesn’t happen too often; it doesn’t happen very often where I live.

I like the mist, too.  It sure beats the downpours we often have.  And it has another benefit… it’s warm enough not to be snow…

…and it gives the old neighborhood a different ambiance that feels somehow like home…

I often wonder how people can look at things like this and say there is no God… sometimes it strikes me like saying you have no nose: come on man!

God reveals Himself to you every day, can’t you see how silly that sounds?  It’s OK to connect the dots, it’s OK to bow before Him… and yes, you have a nose!

Here’s a thought:  Who is the bigger man, the guy who recognizes God’s greatness and majesty and bows, or the guy who refuses to see the obvious and denies that it’s there?

Well, I guess everyone gets to answer for himself.

I look at scenes like this and say “My God, how great you are!”
