If you stand out in a storm, you will be amazed at its power, even if it’s only a small storm. Can Man do this… No!
Weather is not the only source of a storm; we can create other kinds of storms you know, and most of the times we create them with our mouths.
Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong.
Do not be quick with your mouth,
do not be hasty in your heart
to utter anything before God.
God is in heaven
and you are on earth,
so let your words be few.
As a dream comes when there are many cares,
so the speech of a fool when there are many words.
(Ecclesiastes 5:1-3)
It’s always better to let God be God; I don’t think He really needs my help being God. It’s always a good idea to keep our tongues in check, because words mean things. There is no such thing as letting our mouths go and having our words not count: they do count! If there is judgment to be handed down, God is able to do it without me getting into the middle of it.
Yes, a storm is a powerful thing; much more powerful than I am. It doesn’t seem very smart for me to unleash a storm that I can’t keep from getting out of hand: I’m going to let God be God and I’ll just be His humble servant.

Matthew 12:36
Awesome blog, i have been struggling with this myself in my nonprofit business with being angry at how the system works or doesn’t work, lashing out at them with my “words” (which of course is a waste of time) and i have been studying on God’s word to change me and keep me in check. The other day i posted a video on my business website and it was a bit wordy and full of anger. I promised God i would not do it again and work harder then i already do on watching my “words”. Great blog Dan.
