This one’s a little different for this blog… or is it?
We are all about frames of reference here, and what greater frames of reference are there at Christmas time that the music of the season?
Naturally, the birth of Jesus is the major reference a person should have when Christmas is mentioned, but it would be difficult for anyone who has lived very long not to associate music with Christmas as well. Thus, I have assembled some videos of memorable songs and artists from past Christmases for you to take a listen to if you’re so inclined… just for fun.
Hey, why not just relax and enjoy some moments that you might have seen on TV once upon a time?
Here’s one from the Perry Como Christmas Show in the 50’s
Frank Sinatra did this one in the ’60’s
And here, Big Crosby sings “White Christmas” with Frank Sinatra
Finally, Jose Feliciano and “Feliz Navidad”
I hope you enjoy this departure from our usual fare:
Merry Christmas
