“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
(John 3:17)
Have you ever met someone who was out to save the world? Such people are very enthusiastic, very driven, and mean well for everyone. They often go into the law or journalism politics, teaching, or medicine and they are full of ideas to help society.
They are also taking a different path to salvation than the one God set about. The world we live in has lots of problems, and I certainly don’t need to remind you of them, but the one over-riding problem that the world has, the one that is the cause of all of the others is that people in our world are not living in relationship with the God who created them; this is how God intended to save the world.
You can play a significant role in saving the world, by becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Doing what He would do, knowing what He taught us and putting it into practice in your life will show the way for others to enter relationship with God. This will come about not by your flowery words, but through the example you set and the way you live. Dare to answer God’s call

Thanks for sharing. God bless you. Regarding salvation through Jesus, I wrote a piece a few months ago: http://scottsholar.com/2011/08/22/the-passion-of-the-christ/
