Give Glory to God

“I will extol the LORD at all times;
   his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the LORD;

Glorify the LORD with me;

Did you catch the second verse?  So here’s what David is saying here:  I will extol (glorify loudly) the Lord, let the afflicted hear and rejoice, let’s all extol the Lord together.

Notice that he begins with public praise of the Lord.  Let the people hear you give Him glory.  Next, the afflicted, that is people who are hurting and are lacking hope will hear and become joyous because you have just given them hope in the Lord.  Finally, let’s all glorify God together; we will give hope and joy to many!

Just think about how far joy can go if we all join together in giving God glory!
